Near completion of the production phase, we perform an internal performance audit and a final checklist.  As the checklist is whittled down during the final touches, a production walk through is scheduled at substantial completion.

The final walkthrough punch list is jointly created at substantial completion. The purpose of this event is to allow the homeowner to occupy the new space. If a list is created, it will be performed immediately following occupancy.

This is also when all production-related materials are removed from the job site and warranty documentation is presented.

RED CARPET

For appropriate productions, a red carpet event may be hosted by TR for neighbors, friends and other invited guests. This release party is the unveiling of the performance and a celebration of the undertaking. Appropriate foor and beverages are included along with process photos, schedule and other details.

Select perfomances will also be requested for professional photography. Those performances worthy of judging will be subitted to local, state and national awards contests. Awards are accepted by the Designer and Location Manager on behalf of Tenhulzen Residential.

Additional copies of the award may be requested for the award-winning home.

WARRANTY

Warranty of workmanship is for a period of 24 months from the date of substantial completion, often determined by authorization of occupancy. A notice of 30-days remaining for warranty period will be emailed to the primary contact.

The warranty often excludes elements beyond the contractor’s control such as floor squeaks, mold and cracks & nail pops appearing after one year.

Warranty of materials vary by manufacturer and shall be coordinated by the entity that supplied them to the project. Homeowner supplied materials will not receive the same level of service as those materials supplied by the contractor.
